The World Economics Global GDP Database draws from the data available from the Maddison Project, Penn World Tables, IMF and World Bank. The data has been analysed and built upon to create a truly unique dataset of historical GDP data for over 130+ countries in a single comparable format.

Current and Real data has been made available from the World Bank and is freely available to redistribute under the terms of licence from the World Bank.
