75 COUNTRIES MAKE UP THE MIDDLE INCOME COUNTRIES
World Economics has combined 75 countries to represent the Middle Income Countries group. The Middle Income designation is defined as all countries with a gross national income per capita between $1,036 and $12,055.
Overall these countries account for 54% of Global GDP and 72% of global GDP growth in the past 10 years (2011-2021).
The Middle Income Countries are home to over 5.5 billion people with an average life expectancy of 71 years and a current median age of 28 against a global average of 31.
