Brazil’s GDP per Head Growth - has Been Exceptionally Poor

Real GDP per capita in Brazil has risen by only 40% in the past twenty-five years. Once listed for its investment potential as a member of the BRIC group (Brazil, Russia, India, China), Brazil's actual performance has been exceptionally poor. In sharp contrast over in the same period average living standards have soared by 681% in China, by 261% in India, and have even more than doubled in Russia.
